It is a type of arrangement of the veins of a leaf in which a central vein runs from the petiole to the tip of the leaf. The central vein then branches into small veinlets.
It is the arrangement in which the veins entering from a petiole run parallel to each other to the tip of the leaf.
Leaves of coriander, hibiscus, red gram show reticulate venation.
Leaves of grasses, maize, banana show parallel venation.
